In addition, multiple full-size & extension modules can be bolted on to suit the available space at time of initial installation, but these can also be added on at a later date.

Important Information & Responsibilities 

Scope of Supply

1. This product is supplied as a fully structurally and seismically pre-engineered standardised kitset only.

• • Unless expressly agreed in writing, Altivo does not provide site-specific design, installation, or certification.

2. Consents & Regulatory Approvals

• • Any required building consents, permits, or approvals are the responsibility of the purchaser.
  • Altivo can assist with documentation and coordination if required, at additional cost.

3. Fire & Compliance Requirements

• • Any required compliance with fire regulations (including fire rating, means of escape, sprinkler systems [where fitted], and occupancy requirements) is the responsibility of the purchaser.
  • Requirements vary depending on building use and location. Altivo can assist if engaged to do so, at additional cost.

4. Site Conditions & Structural Suitability

• • The purchaser is responsible for confirming that the existing structure, foundations, and concrete slab are suitable for the imposed loads.
  • Where required, a qualified engineer must verify site-specific conditions.

5. Installation Responsibility

• • Installation is the responsibility of the purchaser or their contractor.
  • Altivo accepts no responsibility for installation, workmanship, or site modifications unless installation is carried out under a separate contract with Altivo.

6. Loadings & Intended Use

• • The mezzanine must only be used in accordance with the specified design loads and intended purpose.
  • Any change of use (e.g. light storage to heavy storage, plant, or office use) may require further engineering and approvals.

7. Modifications & Alterations

• • Any modification, substitution, or deviation from the supplied design or components is undertaken at the purchaser’s risk and may void any warranty and affect compliance.

8. Health & Safety Compliance

• • The purchaser is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety legislation, including safe installation practices, edge protection, access (stairs/ladders), and ongoing use.

9. Producer Statements & Certification

• • All modular kitset mezzanine floors are supplied consent-ready with a PS1 Producer Statement from a certified structural engineer.
  • Construction monitoring, PS4 Producer Statements and Code Compliance Certificates (CCC) are not included unless specifically agreed in writing. These may be required to satisfy building consent conditions.

9. Professional Advice

• • The purchaser should obtain independent professional advice (engineering, fire, regulatory) as required to ensure full compliance with local regulations and standards.
